On the road too long

Posted in Uncategorized, The business of living, Road tripping at 12:27 pm by Athena

On the course of my travels I’ve done all these at least once and written them down for future reference to remind myself what it’s like to travel for extended periods of time.

You know you’ve been on the road too long when gas station coffee starts to taste good.

You know you’ve been on the road too long when you eat a pint of ice cream from the store with a plastic fork.

You know you’ve been on the road too long when you finally lay down in a bed and reach back to pull your seat belt down.

You know you’ve been on the road too long when you’re finally get home and you’re watching TV only to realize you’ve been checking the timer on the DVD player to see if you need to get gas.

God it’s good to be home.  At least for a time.

Hilarious! Sadly, I’ve done these things too. Thanks for all your postings- it’s the comedy spot of my morning!
