God, It feels good to be back in the social world. Even though I’ve been not physically at my peak, I did photoshoots on Friday and Saturday nights for St. Mary’s band called, Blue Lightning. The Green Room was Friday and I thought the smoke and the noise would do me in, but I still really enjoyed being back in the crush of people - people who talk.
Last night was the Macadam Bar and Grill, which had a whole different feel, but still one I loved. I’ve missed being out on the town at night. I’ve missed being around strangers who strike up conversations or at the very least acknowledge that you’re standing near by. Even if you can’t chat over the band’s music, there’s a much more friendly feel to the crowds here versus the crowds in Utah and I’m astonished at how evident it actually is!
I’m on my way to catch brunch with Skysidhe at the Chance of Rain coffee shop. Then I’m off to watch Sasha in her play called ‘The Sweetest Swing in Baseball’. Hope you guys are all out enjoying the weather. I’ll catch up to you later!
