Hercules in Prison
Amy was kind enough to send me a notice that The Multnomah County Animal Shelter sent a postcard to my old house to let them know that Hercules has been picked up and will be held till tomorrow.
Thank you Amy. Thank you sooooo much!
As to the Hercules being picked up - I’m so fucking furious I can’t even think. Michelle, the woman who took Hercules last year – I’m hoping that he just pulled an escape artist maneuver and ran away. Let’s hope that’s what it is. I called her and let her know that he’s being held – but wasn’t able to get through.
I don’t know what’s going on. I’m going to try to get to the animal shelter before they open so he won’t get euthanized, as the postcard said the 18th. I’ll keep you posted.
I’m so furious all I can seem to do is pace and cry and make pathetic phone calls to people trying to find out what the fuck is going on! When you let someone take your pet, a member of your family, with the understanding that they will be a forever home – it freaks you out when something goes wrong. I likely wont be sleeping tonight.

Oh! How sad! I know you’ll make it in time to save him. Trust that there is a reason, whatever it may be, than you found out when/ how you did. The Universe doesn’t always make sense right away. Let us know he’s ok!

He’ll be all right. I’m sure they give people until the end of the work day to claim their pet. Be at the shelter an hour before they open and jump on the first person who rolls into the parking lot tomorrow morning. Let us know as soon as you hear anything.

I’m sure it will work out. You are fabulous for still caring so much.

*hugs* Somehow waiting is the worst part. All sorts of happy energies coming your way for you and Hercules.

Thank you everyone. Thank you for all the love! Once I got over the shock - I think things will work out just fine.
