I really don't like the treadmill. A friend and I have been working out in the Coast Guard gym (her husband's a coastie). The first time I tried the treadmill, I was walking along and then she said something from behind me so I turned my head and almost fell off the thing. Apparently, I can't move my head and walk at the same time.

I really like the elliptical (kinda looks like skiing). I can get up to a speed like I'm jogging, but my feet aren't actually impacting the ground so it's MUCH easier on my ankles and knees.

YAY for exercising!

Megan, I'd love a walk through the tabor. Busy schedule and lots of working but I'll get ahold of you and we can make some plans. :)

I've thought about the yoga studio but the only time I could make it is in the early morning - and we all know how useful I am before a full pot of french press - which sort of defeats the purpose of yoga....

Hey babe..I actually was just going to suggest that if you wanted a nice no-pressure friend time moment we could go to mt tabor or forest park for a walk this week/end :) either way..loves you and good luck in the mounting rush!

As if the people in my office dont think I am crazy enough, there are witness to me laughing out loud while reading some website call the bliss quest, almost to the point of tears.
Its funny because I do the same exact thing when getting off of treadmills. Not only do you kind of swagger away, but since the ground is not moving anymore, you feel like you are walking twice as fast because your actually moving forwards now instead of remaining in one place. crazy. Have you given any more thought to going to the Yoga studio by your house?
