I’m pretty excited to announce that I got a booking notice for the Untitled Crowley Project filming in Portland to be an extra on set. Now, to be sure, a booking notice is not a guaranteed part – it means I had to let them know if I am available and then maintain that availability as I am being considered for parts that they need filled.

The part I’m on notice for is an extra as a doctor. I’m actually super stoked and it’s been eating up space in my thoughts all day. How fun would that be? A doctor? Even one that’s just in the background? Awesome!! I can’t wait!

I don’t know much about the Untitled Crowley Project other than that the principle talent is Brendan Fraser, Harrison Ford and Keri Russell. I went by the set today to watch some of the filming on my lunch break and as usual the energy of the set always gets me excited and reminds me of this sense that – I’m exactly where I should be. I always walk away feeling lighter – even when we’ve been filming for 14 hours and I’m bone-tired. I always leave feeling like I’ve been a part of something epic.

I plan on being on the set for background work for two days – that’s two days of soaking up the kind of balance that I seem to only be able to achieve when I’m on a project. Brilliant timing and very much needed on many levels.

I think I lost three or four bobby pins on the freeway this afternoon. But it was such a great day to take the top off the jeep!
